The definite article

                     Singular                                   Plural

masculine   el hombre                             los hombres

feminine     la mujer                                las mujeres

Neutre         lo (the article lo is neuter and cannot accompany a noun. Example  Lo difícil es encontrar trabajo).

Here are ten common habits often associated with Spaniards (keeping in mind there’s lots of regional variety across Spain):

1. Late meal times – Lunch is often around 2–3 pm, and dinner commonly starts after 9 pm.

2. Social eating – Meals are long, relaxed, and very social, often shared with family or friends.

3. Tapa culture – Enjoying small plates of food while standing or moving from bar to bar.

4. Greeting with kisses – Two kisses on the cheek are common when greeting friends or family.

5. Talking with hands – Expressive gestures are a natural part of conversation.

6. Strong café culture – Meeting in cafés for coffee or a drink is a daily habit.

7. Relaxed attitude to time – Being a little late is often socially acceptable.

8. Evening social life – People go out late, especially on weekends.

9. Passion for football (soccer) – Supporting teams is a big part of life for many people.

10. Enjoying outdoor life – Walking, socialising, and spending time outside whenever possible.
